Game On: The Battle of  Next-Gen GPUs

By Tech Tudum

GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and Radeon RX 7900 XT are next-gen GPUs from Nvidia and AMD, available at prices below $1000

Both GPUs promise 1440p performance with tech like ray tracing, FSR and DLSS 3

The $899 MSRP of the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT lags behind its more powerful $999 Radeon RX 7900 XTX.

Nvidia's original $999 RTX 4080 12GB was relaunched as $799 GeForce RTX 4070 Ti after poor reception

Both GPUs are readily available in stock but their pricing is not popular among gamers

RTX 4070 Ti is more readily available for MSRP of $849 and above

while AMD 7900 XT can be found easier for its $899 MSRP

Both GPUs are best suited for 1440p but can perform at 4K with some limitations. RTX 4070 Ti only has 12GB of VRAM

with a slower memory bus width which can bottleneck in some 4K titles, while the Radeon RX 7900 XT has 20GB of VRAM and no bottleneck issue

in Cyberpunk 2079, 7900 XT wins at both 1440p and 4K. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, 7900 XT takes a dominant lead at all resolutions

In Cyberpunk 2079 with ray tracing on, RTX 4070 Ti takes a win with 48fps versus 37fps of the RX 7900 XT
